@sentdefender No, he’s not lol. He’s not going to deploy hundreds or thousands of ground troops in Iran and he has repeatedly said he wouldn’t do that.
U.S. President Donald J. Trump is now facing the toughest decision so far of his presidency, a legacy-defining endeavor, whether to deploy hundreds or even thousands of American ground troops into Iran to support a number of contingencies being prepared by the Pentagon, including the capture of Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, or operations deep behind enemy lines to secure highly-enriched uranium from nuclear sites in Iran, according to CNN.
For many Trump allies in Washington, the deployment of thousands of troops to the Middle East would mean the swift end of their public support for the Iran War - and likely threaten the administration’s ability to deliver the hundreds of billions of dollars in supplemental funding that will soon be requested from Congress by the Pentagon and White House. The economic repercussions of the conflict have led many of Trump’s Republican allies, staring down a tough political road to the midterm elections in November, to urge him to find a way out of Iran.
🚨 BRAKING 🚨
ICE vehicles have been spotted on TOW TRUCKS in Atlanta, meaning they are being impounded. The Tenth Amendment does not allow ICE to be on state roads (only federal highways) so this is the right move
@GregIsKitty I may be wrong, but I saw that live and thought he was doing that to his own players because they were talking to the crowd after scoring. Felt it was a "cut that out" to his players not a "this is over" meaning.
Oregon coach hit that way too early in hostile territory. Can’t do that. Simply can’t.
Penn State wins this game. No way around it. OT then a win this one is over.
I am sorry to ruin everyone’s 4th of July, but I had a disturbing encounter with treason today
I was attending the annual parade this afternoon when a man in a skirt emerged playing a bagpipe. While it’s bad enough to play an “instrument” that sounds like an animal burning to death, I have learned to live with that.
But this year, the bagpiper was playing “Scotland the Brave.” This asshole had the gall to march in a 4th of July parade and play the national anthem of our enemy in the Revolutionary War?
It was an insult I couldn’t let it pass. I jumped over the barrier, ran into the middle of the parade, and used the key to my Taurus to deflate his glorified accordion
I received a standing ovation
