We need to have a serious conversation about the bot purging and ban wave happening right now. In the last two weeks, posting any anime content has been fucked in the last 2 weeks. Will be instantly flagged and no way to appeal it even if there's nothing explicit in it I've seen straight up porn with no sensitive warning label, but a headpatting image of a anime girl gets a warning label Then we got random ban waves happening now where accounts getting suspended.

In order to "protect kids", we're going to need to give Big Tech a lot of sensitive data on EVERY user...we can't just rely on self-attestation. Allowing parents to "set appropriate content controls from the start..." sounds great but what does that actually mean? 📱 The OS (iOS/Android) must ask parents to set content rules during device setup 🔐 Those rules apply to every app on the device 📵 Apps must obey OS‑level restrictions on content, messaging, features, and AI responses 🚫 Apps that don’t comply can be blocked from installing or opening ⚙️ This creates a single, mandatory parental‑control system for the entire device And while this may sound helpful, it’s a government‑defined mandate for EVERY family. Yup. Been covering it extensively. It’s absolutely a coordinated effort. And heavily funded. I don’t know that I would agree with you that they don’t want people to have access to AI - maybe some politicians, but they absolutely want to age gate it and legalize monitoring of AI use.

It’s tragic to see this happening to the site that was so many artist’s place of origin, and the OG internet art site. There really is nothing like it these days, posting art was fun and there was a real sense of community back then. Corporate greed claims yet another art hub.
