People with #asthma were 7% less likely to suffer exacerbations if having an asthma self-management plan & 4% less likely if they were partially vaccinated vs COVID-19 than fully vaccinated.

One example of the Centre's work in health data research, is the development of an algorithm to predict asthma events. #RespiratoryResearchMatters
The algorithm, based on a dataset sourced from @CPRD was validated via @SAILDatabank.

🧵It's clear that the ‘one size fits all’ approach to asthma diagnosis, management and treatment doesn't work as effectively for women with asthma. Women experience significantly higher numbers of asthma attacks, and they’re more likely to die from them. This is unacceptable.
