
Painting portraits of people who are no more, or even film celebrities, is easier in a way. People usually do not go too deeply into small differences. But when you paint a living legend, someone whom you keep seeing regularly on TV interviews, newspapers and especially on Twitter, then every small thing gets noticed 😄 I had made two portraits of @TinyDhillon ji earlier also, and he was gracious enough to keep one of them as his DP for some days. That itself meant a lot to me. This portrait still does not fully match the original DP picture accurately, but for someone who took up painting only as a hobby, and who still calls himself a tangtod painter, I think it is still a fairly brave attempt 😄
