Courtney Peet on a livestream even said in response to finding out “well buddy, I hope your dream comes true, 13 Reasons style”.

People vastly underestimate how horribly a false accusation can harm a man. I honestly believe it to be comparable to rape. One is a horrific acute trauma. The other is a systemic dismantling of your entire life that you'll never recover from.

And trust me, I'm not trying to belittle the effects of rape at all. But we as humans need community. And finding your entire community, your loved ones, your career, all suddenly and irrevocably turned against you for something you didn't do... is obviously traumatic.

@Bonkytheidiot He doesn’t really stand by that take anymore, but like, he had a point back then. He never said one was “better” than the other, just that he PERSONALLY would rather have one happen to him than the other (at the time).

Wow! I never thought of it this way. I remember feeling bummed that I didn’t have a dramatic conversion story. Now, I’m extremely thankful. Keep sharing the Truths of God's glorious ways.

This is actually very wrong linguistically and philosophically. First this is the actual definition of a delusion: "a false belief or judgment about external reality, held despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary" Linguistically faith does not satisfy the requirements for the definition, unless you can demonstrate with incontrovertible evidence that there is no God. Note that I'm not saying the burden of proof is on the atheist, that's a different discussion. I'm only stating that without incontrovertible evidence you cannot classify faith as a delusion. But I have more to say. A belief without evidence and reason about something that isn't true, is just a wrong belief. NOT a delusion. A belief without evidence and reason about something that is true, is a correct belief. Two working examples. Scenario 1: I believe there are aliens on Mars. I have no evidence for it. IF we explore Mars and IF there are no aliens, then it's a false belief. If I still believe it after the incontrovertible evidence, THEN it becomes a delusion. Scenario 2: 2 - I believe there are aliens on Mars. I have no evidence for it. IF we explore Mars and IF we find the aliens, then it was a true belief. So returning to faith, we proved faith cannot be linguistically classified as a delusion. Whether or not the belief is false or correct cannot be known by us before incontrovertible evidence. Moreover whether or not we know it, the belief is already true or false based on the ontology of the thing which is believed. If God does not exist, my belief would be false whether I know it or not. If after proof of God's non existence I still believed it, then it becomes a delusion . But if God DOES exist, then my belief would be correct whether I know it or not, even in the absence of initial evidence. Denying the existence of God after the incontrovertible evidence would then become the delusion.

@Bonkytheidiot I'm tired of men and women drawing lines, picking sides, looking at each other like different species. We are made to be two halves of one whole. Men and women both have strengths, and when brought together we are so much stronger... What the hell have we done to our brains?

"Women hate men as a system, men hate women as people." I see feminists say this and it's a self-own. If men hate women as people, they're judged individually as people. If women hate men systemically, they're judging men by their sex, which is literally sexism.

Jesus said lusting after someone is committing adultery in your heart. "But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28 It's not "lusting is bad too" or even "lusting is as bad as adultery." God literally regards them as the same thing.

Grief should never become content. We live in a cruel world.
