The truth is Isak leaving so late on in the summer has set Newcastle back 3 years... if he left early summer for Liverpool I truly believe Liverpool would not have been in for Ekitike and he would have signed for us... the summer was shambles and set the tone for the season #NUFC

@SpannersReady Yes absolutely, the problems is a lot of the stuff around this is all rumour that people are clinging to as fact. The political side to this is merc are supplying engines to 3 other teams. If that engine fails what can realistically be done that is fair to the customer teams?

Question for the people that think this Mercedes engine situation isn't a cheat (based on public info): If the compression ratio is ALWAYS 18:1 but there is part of the engine or a device that convinces the test that the ratio is 16:1, would that change your mind?

Add Leeds to the list of stadiums that will be bigger than SJP. I’d be interested to know what the maximum capacity increase at SJP actually is, to be honest. I remember during the feasibility study phase it was mentioned that an extra 11k might be possible, taking it to around 63k. That doesn’t sound like a lot, especially for something that would probably cost a fortune. But for context, 11k is roughly the entire capacity of Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium. And if we could turn it around relatively quickly, say within two years, I think I’d be leaning towards that as my preferred option.
