They'll actually say "qualified immunity"... but you're right; that's exactly what they'll say. Organizations like the Institute for Justice (@IJ), and Classic Liberals (@NHCLP) , push back against that type of anti-accountability routinely. So are you suggesting that because the government avoids accountability, states should NOT try to help their citizens whose civil rights are violated?

You lie about the founding of the nation where each state had a Church affiliation that lasted for generations endorsed by the founders. We have seen conflicting information whether he had his ID. Given the lies that were said about Pretti by the FedGov in the immediate aftermath, we advise a bit of patience on that particular question.

@StoicDad44 @justinamash We’re literally the gun rights group here in Minnesota. There is no such law. It is perfectly legal to carry a firearm with a permit at protests, political rallies, demonstrations, etc. in Minnesota.

@NHCLP @MikeBelcher14 Under Minnesota law, licensees are required to have their CCW permit and their photo ID on their person when carrying. They are also prohibited from carrying at ”demonstrations” under the law. When you say he was lawfully carrying, that’s a lie.

Events on the day of his shooting are not changed an iota by events on some prior date. We all saw the multiple videos, Mike. We all saw that he was helping a woman. And yes, he was a nurse. That is also a plain fact. CBP shot a man in the back, multiple times. That man was not a threat to them. He never pulled his legally-carried weapon. These truths were captured by multiple witness videos. 🤷‍♀️ That day, like this other, is simply historical record. You can't change it, however much you clearly want to.

@NHCLP It changes the narrative entirely. He's not a "nurse" intervening to help a "woman." He's a part of a criminal conspiracy obstructing justice and assaulting law enforcement and he did it while carrying a firearm in furtherance of the criminal conspiracy. It's a clean shoot.

We're not anti-government. We are not libertarians. We are pro-people running their own lives. We want fewer regulations that keep people back. We want people to be able to choose their own paths in life. We want a safe and healthy state. We want respect for human dignity. Yes, the landscape has changed in America. But most people still want to live their lives as unfettered as possible. That doesn't say "without regulations".

@NHCLP i can appreciate that. sadly, i think much of the landscape has changed sense the founding of the country. Robber barons would jump at the chance to destroy our beautiful state for a quick buck without regulations. I don't think there is a home for me in any modern party

Nobody agrees with 100% of ANY political party platform. For instance: Some in the party are personally VERY anti-abortion; some are not 2A absolutists; some are open borders while others want Ellis Island-type regulation of immigration. What we all share is a commitment to Liberalism and liberal values. That's a very strong foundation. It's what once made our country great.

@NHCLP also, after reading the platform. I'm not sure i agree with all the points. bodily autonomy is important... but if my neighbors don't get vaccines they are harming me and/or vice-versa. I'm not sure how to square that circle. covid fucked that up for the society.

70% is a massive over-estimate. Yes, some will trigger. But they can't tell a communist OR a fascist from a toaster, so 🤷‍♀️. Liberalism informed the New England Republicans for decades. It's why they supported the Bill of Rights so strongly. Those people are also politically homeless, but they aren't afraid of liberal values.
