Whatever else they might say, Sunrise seems to sense that early-2020s environmentalism is dead
Basil🧡@LinkofSunshine
The Sunrise Movement has tweeted 78 times since their last tweet that was about the environment

@LinkofSunshine This seems to be their last tweet that was "environment focused" - and even then, it's not great

Repulsive message, to tell us that if we want jobs, we have to sacrifice drinkable water, cheap energy, and a livable climate. This is why corrupt politicians attack the Green New Deal: under the GND, we wouldn’t have to choose.

@LinkofSunshine I feel like there's some conceptual slippage happening here.
Everything Bagel Liberalism is when you bog down governance in stakeholder management.
This is distinct from the Omnicause.

One of my weird beliefs is we should have some sort of government subsidized cheap healthy food to-go options in major cities, like Woorijip in Koreatotwn

Something fun about NYC real estate, Grand Central Terminal in particular, are the millions of “back doors”, tunnels, discrete entrances to everything.
For example, the main entrance to The Campbell is from outside, but you can also use a random elevator on the floor below or via the concourse but only through another unrelated restaurant.
Another example is this random door I’ve walked by literally thousands of times and never noticed. The “saloon” entrance to the Oyster Bar.
