My twitter will always be a personal blog for my random thoughts, for my own amusement, like 10-20 times a day If you take it more seriously than that, that's on you

Out of touch award. The numbers are lower than the Great Recession because people have realized the American Dream is dead and that there is no hope in the foreseeable future whatsoever. Not because the overall economy is worse. No one cares about the GDP and DOW.

My argument isn’t that this is a fantastic economy, btw. It’s that this economy is not uniquely awful, and certainly doesn't merit consumer confidence being lower than *during the Great Recession.*

Addressing more responses 1) I said I wouldnt dunk so I wouldn’t, but cherry picked metrics are reflexive of the overall economy 2) “inflation exists” is not a response. Real wages are at an all time high 3) u-6 (and even u-3) is totally valid. He’s trying to argue people making like 60k should be classified as unemployed

"Addressing the responses" but never actually gives any arguments once they realize that their argument sucks lmao. The internet just allows unfiltered neuroticism at near toxic levels

Addressing the responses 1) it IS worse than the Great Recession (very bad argument) 2) the stats are fake (bad argument) 3) but MY life is bad (bad argument) 3 “kill yourself” (probably a bad argument) 5 it’s compounding (fine argument even if I disagree)

Unfortunately it seems that @_earlyworm died in January. I was holding out hope that she hadn't because someone is reading her twitter dms but I was just shared a memorial post for someone that is basically 99% likely to be her. I will not be sharing the memorial post

@LinkofSunshine The steak genuinely looks fine, but it does seem very inconsistently cooked. It is seared well but with a seemingly wide range of doneness

Hilarious subplot right now is that there is an Indian pop star named Diljit Dosanjh performing at MSG tonight, and the thought of a bunch of unsuspecting Indian people crossing paths with the Sidetalk mutants on the night the Knicks punch their ticket to The Finals is hilarious.

How quickly it took the Knicks to build a 20-point lead in potential closeout games this spring: vs. Atlanta: 11 minutes vs. Philly: 11 minutes vs. Cleveland: 13.5 minutes
