FRAUD IN THE NAME OF E COMMERCE: I am flooded with so many calls from so many Serving as well as Retired Armed Forces Officers about a Fraud which is being committed in the name of E Commerce. It is a very sorry state of affairs that a group of Armed Forces Officers, serving as well as retired, have embarked upon a journey of defrauding their own brethren by enticing them to join a Ponzi Scheme known as "Q Net". Every day so many officers are losing a substantial amount of their hard earned money in this MLM kind of Scheme. I request @adgpi to kindly sensitise the environment about this menace. Things are really bad and, unless an immediate action is taken, a lot of people from the Armed Forces would lose their money. I have the details of such culprits and would reveal the same in open at this platform itself soon if they don't mend their ways and return the money to their victims.

You can’t call something a "clerical error" in the morning and then move to censor discussion about it by evening. That’s not damage control, it’s damage confirmation.
In a poll-bound state, this is not a minor slip-up. When an official communication from the Election Commission of India carries the imprint of a political party like the Bharatiya Janata Party, it raises a fundamental and uncomfortable question, where does the referee end and the player begin?
And if merely asking that question invites takedown notices, then the problem is clearly much deeper than a so-called "clerical error."

OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION: REGARDING THE ERRONEOUS CIRCULATION OF ELECTION COMMISSION DOCUMENT It has come to our notice that a letter from the Election Commission, bearing the seal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is being circulated across various Malayalam news channels. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) hereby clarifies that this was purely a clerical error, which was identified and rectified immediately. The BJP Kerala Unit had recently approached the CEO’s office seeking clarification on the 2019 guidelines regarding the publication of criminal antecedents of candidates. Along with their request, the party submitted a photocopy of the original 2019 directive. The party's seal was present on that specific copy provided by them. Due to an oversight, the office failed to notice the party symbol on the submitted document and inadvertently redistributed it to other political parties as part of the requested clarification. The guidelines in question have undergone revisions since 2019, which have already been communicated to all political entities. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer acknowledged the lapse as soon as it was detected. Consequently.On March 21, the Deputy Chief Electoral Officer issued a formal letter withdrawing the erroneous document.The withdrawal notice was dispatched to all political parties, District Election Officers, and Returning Officers. The public and media are requested to refrain from spreading misleading messages based on this clerical error. The Election Commission maintains a rigorous and foolproof system to ensure that the electoral process remains free from any external interference or influence.

This is FAKE news. The ECI must take cognisance of this mutilation and forgery of its documents. The document being circulated is from 2019, and here is the original version. It is also publicly available on the official website (Original: share.google/YtmsD3K5arLolF…) of the Election Commission. Despite this, the Congress Party is sharing a distorted copy through its official handles to mislead the public. The desperation is evident, resorting to misinformation only exposes their intent.

Ethanol producers have urged the govt to increase ethanol blending from E20 to E30.
A country of selfish, opportunistic, greedy people. Except for maybe a few BMWs, no vehicle in the country is designed to run on E30.
Logic says the govt should bluntly tell the ethanol lobby to shut up and stay in their lane, but since we’ve already seen them push E20 without phasing out non-E20 vehicles, I won’t be surprised if they start considering the E30 demand.

The Supreme Court has in a landmark judgment ruled that the systemic framework across the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, in terms of career progression and growth, disadvantaged women officers as they were denied a fair chance at Permanent Commission (PC) which ensures better in-service and pensionary benefits.
A bench led by the Chief Justice of India Surya Kant ruled that women Army officers released from service (during the litigation of this case) will be deemed to have completed 20 years of qualifying service and will receive full pension with arrears from January 1, 2025, while directing grant of Permanent Commission (PC) to those still in service who met the 60% cut-off, subject to clearances.
In the Navy, it protected officers already granted PC and extended eligibility for PC to specified categories of women and even certain male officers who were earlier excluded. In the Air Force, it recognised flaws in evaluation and granted pensionary benefits as a one-time measure to those who were considered but not selected, while allowing others to pursue remedies.
In the Air Force, the Court further held that performance benchmarks were implemented hastily, vitiating the selection process, while in the Navy it found a lack of transparency in evaluation criteria and vacancy disclosures.
The Court based its ruling on the finding that the entire evaluation system was structurally biased. It noted that Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) were written on the assumption that women would not have long-term careers, leading to casual or unfair grading. It also found that women were denied “criteria appointments” and “career enhancement courses” because they were earlier ineligible for PC, which directly lowered their merit when they later became eligible.
