@NESCACicehockey Move D1 basketball & top football to NBA/NFL with games at some very cool college venues. Then put the “collegiate” back in NCAA. Or DIII drops NCAA & goes it alone for scholar-athletes.

This paper, by a former Yale hockey player, explains how the 5 in 5 rule would damage college hockey if there is no carve-out for hockey. The proposed rule does not apply to D3 but the betting is that D3 will adopt a similar rule: app.hedgeye.com/insights/18191…

@okmaher @DENAirport I’ve never understood why they didn’t design the Denver airport with underground walkways between the concourses. Atlanta has them and it’s great. If you have extra time you can walk and you never have this issue of large crowds stuck waiting for the train.

Hundreds of people stuck at concourse A trying to get on the train to the other concourses after being required to walk to A to access to the rest of the airport. People missing flights and panicking. @DENAirport

I've seen a lot of comments about NCAA D3 athletics. Unless you have watched recently, I suggest you either don't comment or go watch. D3 is much better than what people think, especially those who haven't watched

The Aurora no goal was likely deemed a no goal because the ref found the play to be dead as soon as the puck hit Reid's glove regardless of the subsequent momentum-related movement of Reid's glove over the goal line. The refs made the same call on the ice & after a video review

@TomCaron Poor Development planning. An NCAA game is a great way to raise alumni & local business funds. If it’s local-ish. Ticket revenues are chump change. Ask Beanpot schools what they raise.

Come on. All-time D3 MBB Final 4s by conf: 1. CCIW = 21 (7 schools) 2. NESCAC = 21 (6 schools) 3. WIAC = 18 (5 schools) The NESCAC has 21 Final 4s...with 6 different schools getting there. I think the NESCAC has some advantages with NPI related to the limited # of league games. But it is without question an elite conf. Making an extreme/hyperbolic/silly statement is not the most effective way to make a point. #d3hoops

@BQuillmanQcast The mighy NESCAC is a joke. 5 teams in is a joke . 20% of the at-large bids from an over rated conference this year. There are 43 conferences. D3 has to change there selections process and criteria
