To every farmer, rancher, and ag family across CO: Your legacy is worth defending. 🌾🥩 For years, Denver politicians have talked down to rural communities—like Gov. Polis’s so-called “MeatOut Day.” That will never happen under a Kirkmeyer administration. #copolitics

So, I’m finally doing it. I’m following my weird dream of going to school to become an #auctioneer. Wish me luck!

With the fire season we are probably in for, @GovofCO had better get former DNR director Mike King on retainer instead of the usual cast of bunglers.

Story time: Hello, welcome to the year of our Lord, 2026, where we contacted the office of @JenaGriswold, Colorado's Secretary of State, currently running for Attorney General, for an updated voter file. Griswold ran for Secretary of State on a platform to modernize the office and strengthen data security. Not only did she leak a bunch of voter data on a spreadsheet that one time and pretend it was NBD - a few days ago, our request for the updated data was met with, I am serious about this, "Your disc is ready" . . . it came ON A CD. For those of you who don't know what that is, is a shiny circle people used to use to pirate music from Napster. We are currently out trying to buy a CD-ROM drive to at least get it on a thumb drive? So modernized. #copolitics

@KyleClark @ScottBottomsCO Oh, I could be wrong. But I thought that for both teachers and clergy, it was any knowledge, and the only carve out for clergy was if it was learned in the function of a protected religious carve out, i.e., confession.

@okmaher @ScottBottomsCO My understanding is that the mandatory reporter function only applies if he learned about the alleged abuse in his role as a member of clergy. I believe the law was clarified last year or the year prior.

YIKES and a reminder - @ScottBottomsCO is a pastor and is therefore a mandated reporter. He must legally report any known or suspected abuse of children to local law enforcement within 24 hours of receipt of that knowledge. Did he?
Kyle Clark@KyleClark

NEW: State Rep Scott Bottoms (R) claims, without offering evidence, that there are pedophile rings involving elected officials at Colorado's Capitol. When the GOP candidate for Governor wouldn't agree to a scheduled interview, we met him for an unscheduled interview.

Watching football with the boys and they keep saying “six seeeeven” for no discernible reason, but my kingdom for the @HoustonTexans or @steelers to score. I don’t care which team at this point. Just. Please. Score.

Huge: "A federal court has granted the Computer & Communication Industry Association’s request for a preliminary injunction blocking Texas SB2420, the App Store Accountability Act" Does not bode well for federal legislation in the same model
Computer & Communications Industry Association@ccianet

A federal court has blocked Texas SB 2420, the App Store Accountability Act, agreeing that it likely violates the #FirstAmendment. As CCIA’s Stephanie Joyce noted, the injunction protects the free speech rights of app stores, developers, parents, and young users, and preserves parents’ right to make their own choices using existing safety tools. @ZenJennyAsencio @DENAirport @lyft @Uber I love people who know real answers. So, I probably got a bit overcharged, not SO MUCH that it’s worth pursuing, but also minor annoyance. I made the boys frozen pizza last night instead of ordering so probably covered the delta.

Okay friends, let’s play a game of “what should I do?” Just landed at @DENAirport with my two kiddos after five days away. Single Mom, two boys under 8, we’re all clearly exhausted. We get our bags and walk outside. I pull up my phone and for some reason neither @lyft nor @Uber were loading. Both kids are dragging their bags. I see the taxi line. “Fine” I think. I’ll just make sure they take a credit card. I ask a guy in line and he says “you have to use the first cab first” so I go to the front cab in position 1. I have the kids lugging their car seats and as soon as he opens the door they start shoving stuff in. Nice guy. We chat on the drive. He’s been in Colorado 11 years. Likes it here. His favorite town is Grand Lake. Then we get to my place in Westminster (31 miles, he did take E-470) and he pulls up his phone and tells me it’s ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS. I frown and he says “Uber and Lyft are cheaper but taxis are like retail.” At this point my boys are jumping out of the taxi, my bags are in the back and the boys are trying to pull them out and this guys has already brought us home. Then he pulls up square and the only choices are 15%, 20% or 25% tip. I was so frazzled but picked the least. It ends up costing me $149.50 to get home. If I would have known that a taxi was three times the Lyft or Uber, I wouldn’t have done it. I looked at the receipt and there’s no itemization so I don’t understand why it’s that much. Do you think he saw I was with two kids, was so tired, loaded down with bags, didn’t have a choice, and so he took advantage of me? Are taxis just that much more expensive than Lyft and uber? Is this on me because I should have asked up front with my address the cost rather than assuming it would be comparable? There’s no real way to compare taxi rates when they’re in line. Also, I was told I had to pick the front guy. Are visitors to Denver getting this treatment? So, do I do something about this? Contact the PUC or something? Because if it’s happening to me I’m not the only one. Or should I just turn on some trashy tv, take a nap, close x, and let it go?

@okmaher @DENAirport @lyft @Uber I mean, it would take you a lot longer, but taking the A train to the Flatiron Flyer to Westminster would’ve cost you $10. Have you taken the kids on RTD before?
