Yesterday — for the first time, and after important conversations with my parents — I decided to publicly reveal that my beautiful, wonderful, sweet, caring mother has been battling Alzheimer’s for a number of years. It’s a cruel disease, but she is a faithful woman who is the human opposite of cruelty. Bret, the Sage, has ushered in more news, goodwill, humor, musical exploration, and fostered better conversation than almost any other Denver/Boulder personality. I’ve been listening to the same voice since my MOM DROVE ME TO SCHOOL in the mornings.
When I was in high school, he said stand in line for a Studio C cd, and I did it, year after year. He’s a force.
