@NateTidwell86 Not that I've heard, but my conversations with Zoominfo tend to be more B2B than WNBA. Philly's on the W's shortlist, though that arena situation makes me wonder. Nashville's also on the list, but that might be wishful thinking.

@Notteham I never read of a real "push" from Nashville and Philadelphia. The Nashville folks said no ownership group had come forward, and Philadelphia just seemed like speculation. Has there been anything with Kirk Brown in Portland since this story?

If I said the Wet Hopped IPA peaked in popularity in 2014, would you contest that in any significant way?

@KPMemberService Chris, who do you think I've been on the phone with as this blank Zoom screen keeps sitting in front of me? Brenda's had me on hold for a few minutes now.

@kipkesgard Was hoping Kaiser could get it together and act like a healthcare provider through all of this, but if it’s just a matter of deciding whose traveling nurses are administering vaccine (PS, that’s who Kaiser has on flu) may as well go to the unpopular Safeway near my home office

@Notteham @portugaltheman I was in the club level once for dc united at rfk (I went as a guest) and the only difference from the regular level was bathrooms that didn't smell.

@skywaker9 @portugaltheman Let me date myself a bit here: I've only seen games at the old Giants Stadium, and even then whatever bad tickets were thrown at us. When I worked for the Herald-News, they brought us to a then-MetroStars game and sat us in the Bergen Record box. Different universe.

@Notteham @portugaltheman I've been club level at jets games a few times (one of my dad's friends is a rich jets fan) and yep that's living. I also snagged cheap club seats for niners at Seahawks a few years ago. The club experience is so much less stressful than the regular one.

@skywaker9 @portugaltheman The press boxes for the MLB All-Star Game this year were on one of the club levels at T-Mobile. The lack of lines for everything, the readily available phone chargers, the screens above the seats, the cushier seats... those people were living.

@Notteham @portugaltheman I was in the club level for the women's tourney in Seattle last year. We had multiple dedicated concession stands/bars and our own restrooms. That was a cheap upgrade but worth it.

@skywaker9 @portugaltheman I split a Boston Bruins mini season ticket package with my father during one of their down seasons in the mid-2000s. We were in club seats after years of being in the upper reaches of MSG and Meadowlands Arena. It's worth the upgrade.

@Notteham @portugaltheman When the Rose garden arena opened it was ahead of its time with a dedicated club level. Honestly if I had the $ that's where I'd buy mostly. I like the feeling and less crowded club level, which usually has upgraded seats and food/drinks. Yet you still get to be in the crowd.

@skywaker9 @portugaltheman Not to mention companies that like to send clients to major concerts like this. I went from seeing no sports suites in this region to the PP and T-Mobile Park suites in a year. PP's are no slouches.

@skywaker9 It's true: Foo Fighters were never coming to Tonk 2, but if your draw is the novelty of seeing a show in an outdoor sports venue here, it's a steep dropoff from Providence Park to the next option. And Walker Stadium already loves @portugaltheman

@Notteham And as previously discussed there are a bunch of purpose built convert venues in the area about the size of the Hillsboro stadium. Providence Park actually isn't really competing with them since they are focused on acts that can draw 15-20k+

@skywaker9 Fans can already see USWNT players play regular season games for the price of a minor-league baseball ticket and take their family there on the train. You make the place even a novelty concert venue and you're disincentivizing the drive completely.

@Notteham I was about to say, yet another blow to the Hillsboro fantasy.
