I started writing the manuscript for a huge research project we've been doing for months. When I go to look for some information in the research protocol, I discover that it no longer exists, because the @OSFramework took down my account for… SPAM???? @OSFSupport

Hi @OSFSupport, I have a large project with a few dozen collaborators, and I am wondering if OSF has a simple way for me to send an email to all my Contributors at once. Or maybe can point me to an add-on? Thanks!

@OSFramework I have already sent three e-mails in two weeks to support but have received no answer. Two weeks ago when I tried logging in through ORCID, my account was suddenly blocked. My publications link to my databases so is vital that regain access to it.

@sTeamTraen the project, osf.io/9k72s/ also doesn't appear to have any files associated with it either, which would explain the empty zip file!

Hi @OSFSupport I want to download a preregistration from osf.io/9k72s/ but all I get (pic) is an empty ZIP file. Before I ask the authors, can you confirm that I'm not missing something obvious?

@sTeamTraen Hi Nick, It looks like (osf.io/9k72s/) is an OSF project the registration can be found here: osf.io/2bfr7. It doesn't appear there are any files associated with the registration. Let us know if you have any questions!

@Simazhi @OSFramework I promise they won't disappear, but unfortunately users getting flagged is a consequence of spam filters being on high alert. We've released several new mitigations over the last few months to both be better about catching bad actors and not having real users effected.

@OSFSupport @OSFramework Yes it works again! Thanks so much. Still curious what we can do to protect us against this in the future + how we can receive a warning (I got no notice). Would hate to see my persistent repositories suddenly disappear 😬

OSF is experiencing some longer than normal load times and intermittent issues with content creation following a version release on October 25, 2022. A fix is in progress, and please write support@osf.io if you experience unexpected behavior.

@LoraKlatt There currently is not a feature for relocating the file storage for OSF Projects. If you send us a note at support@osf.io we can try to find some alternative ways to help.
