I have three options I'm considering tomorrow: 1) fitness expo in Nashville and my jacked hero Jay Cutler (not the qb) is gonna be there, always wanted to meet him. 2) NWA taping in Atlanta where I'll see a lot of my friends. 3) EXTREME DWARFANATORS in Chatt. Choices, choices.

Dear @bullyray5150, I did it. 100lbs down since April 20 of last year, 400 days to be exact. In spite of being 43, with a bad hip and worse knee, and a lifelong diabetic (with accompanying insulin resistance). You see, I got sick of being told I looked like you, because nobody wants to be told they're like the most detestable person this side of the White House. And in our semi-regular sparring sessions, your only third-grade comeback was "u r fat." So while the primary reason for me doing this was to stay alive for my daughter, I must say, spite is a helluva motivator. So in a weird way, thank you for being such a piece of shit, it truly powered me. And yes I had some medication help, but I also missed 14 gym days in 14 months, and your awfulness was responsible for at least some of this weight loss. But more importantly and in closing, you can suck my fit and trim dick...from the back. Go Sox.

I did it. 100 pounds in exactly 400 days. This was the goal from day one, but I never thought I'd hit it. Week by week, month by month, it started to get more realistic, and today, it finally happened. It's the hardest thing I've ever done, by far. Everyone asks how I got here, and the answer is that I've worked my ass off. I conservatively estimated that I've done 1500 miles of cardio and lifted 5 million pounds since last April. I've missed 14 gym days in 14 months, with two-a-days being the norm recently. PRs every day. I've gone from 250 units of insulin a day to 50-60 units, and an A1C of 7.4 to a 5.9. A year ago, I knew something needed to change. At the rate I was going, I wasn't going to be around to see my kid graduate, let alone walk down the aisle. When I was given the gift of a Fitness Central membership, I knew I could not pass up this opportunity to make a real change. That place has saved and extended my life, and I couldn't be more grateful. I am thankful to so many people for helping me get here. Ava above all, my inspiration. Tim, Don and Robbie at the gym. Mom for being my cheerleader. Tiffany for being a good sport and amazing companion recently. The soothing sounds of metalcore and Canadian indie pop. Too many friends to count as well, who pushed and encouraged me along the way. Oh and Bubba Dudley and the Fox News channel, because spite is a helluva motivator. From here? Never stop never stopping. The gym is my happy place now, and seeing progress becomes addictive. I may take a few more rest days, but I won't stop pushing.
