This is one of the craziest fucking theory I have ever read man, this will literally make Odin the biggest villain of all time. I am not sure what to make of all this honestly. We saw his soul get destroyed. All four pieces went into the marble. So what was all this effort for? To lose on his own timetable? Sure that tracks what Mimir says in 2018 but what does that give Odin? I am not sure. I guess we wait for Laufey

As someone who’s professionally studied and published articles on Tibetan protector deities Begtse’s design is giving me nerd rage. Begtse’s name literally means “coat of mail” and his suit of armor is his main iconographic feature but he’s barely wearing armor here.

Well said, Personally I would rather not see Wukong Vs Kratos. Given the designs for Sekhmet and Begtse I don't have hope they will do him justice plus I don't want to see them nerf Wukong just so Kratos can beat him. Wukong took on entire pantheon by himself, at the same time and won with relative ease. Kratos is nowhere near that power level. It is starting to become the marvel of mythologies though. I don't mind seeing one or 2 more pantheons but I think they need to finish up Kratos story soon

So it’s setting up exactly what was set up in the first place by the fact that he went the Norse realm after Olympus was destroyed? We just treading ground that was already tread, planting a flag down and saying it’s new? “Oh but you see, THIS time, it can just happen anywhere!” That sounds infinitely worse. That makes the gods action figures. We don’t get to see all these unique cultural figures in their element or homes, see what they mean to the region and how such cultures are represented. Or even how their symbolism is important to the culture they came from. They now just show up to fight or drop dialogue. Great, amazing, so they’re not mythological figures anymore they’re just marvel characters. The fact that this is being spouted as a selling point is telling me standards have dropped too low. I don’t want to fight Wukong in Egypt, I want learn and interact with ancient China and what Wukong means to THEM and then fight him if he’s in the wrong. What are we doing here? Why are we glorifying shallow execution over sincere understanding and showcasing?
