From Pakistan to the World. At Indus AI Week 2026, the Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) and the @UNUniversity signed a landmark MoU to accelerate Project GovAI, a Digital Micro-Learning & Upskilling Program designed to equip civil and public servants with practical AI and governance capabilities. Coordinated by @united, with collaboration across the UNU system including UN University – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability @UNUIAS (Tokyo),United Nations University-MERIT @UNUMERIT (Maastricht) and the United Nations University Institute in Macau ( @UNUMACAU ), this partnership represents a major step toward responsible, scalable AI capacity building in government. As @mjmsear Mohammad J Sear, Vice Chairperson, PDA, stated: “Digital transformation is moving faster than ever. GovAI will help ensure our civil service has the practical AI skills and governance capability needed to deliver the Digital Master Plan and improve services for people and businesses across Pakistan.” Looking ahead, PDA and UNU will explore how GovAI can evolve into a reusable and sustainable national and global digital public good, with modular learning pathways, implementation playbooks, and governance models that other countries can adapt for responsible AI capacity building. ⚓ I have to clarify first: this is not an AI-generated video. At first, I thought it was one of those “AI short video + industrial CG” tricks, but after checking, the video is real. This is a real-time-lapse by the CEAD Group: They’re using robotic arms to 3D print a ship hull layer by layer. Because it’s time-lapse, the movements seem subtle, but if you watch frame by frame, you can see the robotic arms continuously “extruding material,” building the hull layer by layer. What’s even more incredible: They’ve already printed a 12-meter-long ship. Traditional shipbuilding: molds, welding, assembly, manual labor… Now: a digital model + a robot = direct ship printing.
