🐍 A Florida family's routine python-hunting trip in the Everglades quickly turned into a fight for survival. Carl Jackson was scouting Big Cypress National Preserve on January 13 with his wife Tasha and their two children, 20-year-old Ryker and 16-year-old Jazzlyn, when he spotted tracks crossing a dirt road. Thinking the snake was around 12 feet, Carl grabbed it, only to be dragged straight toward a canal. The massive reptile then coiled itself around Carl's body and forced him to the ground. Daughter Jazzlyn jumped in immediately, using every ounce of her strength 💪 to keep the snake from fully squeezing her father. Wife Tasha joined the battle, taping the python's jaws shut while the whole family worked together to bring the beast under control. When it was finally over, they had a record on their hands. The female Burmese python measured 16 feet 10 inches and weighed 202 pounds, confirmed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as the second-heaviest wild-caught Burmese python ever recorded in the state. Only one 215-pound snake has ever surpassed it. When the snake was later processed, roughly 200 eggs 🥚 were discovered inside her body, underscoring just how rapidly these invasive predators can multiply in Florida's wetlands.

🚨 BREAKING: A Boeing 737-400 freighter has gone missing in the Indian Ocean, just past the Gulf of Oman, after taking off from the UAE Flight tracking data shows an EXTREMELY rapid descent, dropping approximately 35,000 feet in less than 2 minutes, before disappearing from radar entirely.
