Was added to Gold/Silver as an afterthought and made to be part of the cover art way later in the game’s development after delays took place 4. There’s no mention of Lugia’s name in the original Gold/Silver games at all 5. The creator of Lugia was distraught with how Lugia’s voice was portrayed in the film 6. Has had multiple color/sprite changes throughout history
