Obesity is a cause and a consequence of difficult asthma. Causes are complex, but systemic steroids contribute. Few respond to lifestyle changes or receive bariatric surgery. GLP-1 receptor agonists may make obesity a treatable trait. @hinkslab bit.ly/ERSM108
