At age 14, this woman was kidnapped at knifepoint, held hostage for nine months, raped repeatedly and threatened with death. Is it any wonder she feels a need now for super-human strength? This is an awe-inspiring parable for what happens to women when they're severely abused.

Some people would’ve looked at this yard and kept driving… too tall, too much, too hard, but not this young man. With nothing more than a push mower and determination, he took on the challenge and turned what seemed overwhelming into something beautiful again. That’s what the 50 Yard Challenge is really about, it’s not just cutting grass, it’s building character. It’s teaching perseverance when things aren’t easy, pride in doing a job right, and compassion for someone else’s situation. 🚨🚨🚨 HOUSE OF HORRORS: Asa Ellerup, the ex-wife of confessed Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann, said in a new docuseries episode that she moved into her former husband's so-called kill room just over a month ago, after he confessed to her but before he changed his plea. “The brutal truth is that Rex Heuermann said he dismembered the bodies in this room. That is the brutal truth. OK. Now, there's me. I'm in this room. And I'm here because I do feel spiritual. I am trying to say spiritually, in my own way, that I am really sorry." Every night, she passes a massive black Maglite affixed to the wall at the top of the stairs and makes her way down into the cellar, where police spent days digging for evidence after her husband's arrest in the summer of 2023. Heuermann has admitted to killing eight women between 1993 and 2010. Seven of the murders took place in a vault in the family's Massapequa Park basement. Three victims there were dismembered there. Their remains were all dumped in remote areas of Long Island, most of them near the infamous Gilgo Beach. "It's not so much in the sense that she wants to know Rex the serial killer," Ellerup's lawyer, Bob Macedonio, tells Fox News Digital. "She wants to know that side of Rex and also get to know herself and how she missed all this in 30 years." Prosecutors say the murders took place while Ellerup was out of town. One took place days before their destination wedding, when Heuermann stayed behind for several days as his wife flew to Europe to prepare.
