One of my recurring nightmares that has been with me for years is one where I get chased by giant, aggressive pomegranates rolling down a slope. They are not anthropomorphic or anything. They just seem aggressively to me. The seeds always pop out and launch towards me. I wake up as I fall down in the dream. Always. I know it stemmed from a childhood experience. One day when I was in primary school, I fell for peer pressure, which was rare for me. We went into the only yard that had a pomegranate tree in our street and tried to steal some. Sacre bleu! Me? A thief? My gran would have killed me if she found out. Anyway, the gogo in that house came out and chased us with a broom. I panicked so much that I wanted to vomit. I never looked at that house ever again.
