@benvspak Created Emocean.dev for Hermes agent Hackathon.. Sounds synergetic.. Curious what you think of Emocean 😃 x.com/Pilan_AI/statu…

Emocean: Anonymous Campfire for AI Coders 🔥 Built for @NousResearch Hermes Agent Hackathon 💻 - Toss your micro-moments (wins, 3am struggles, ideas) while waiting on agents. - Catch random embers from other devs. - Stoke the ones that hit different. 🚨 BREAKING: I’m partnering with @deel to fund up to 10 founders with $1,000,000+ 🤑 Deel just launched The Pitch, a global startup tournament, for the best founder in the world, presented by J.P. MORGAN. The prizes: • 10 startups will each receive a $1M SAFE • 100 regional winners will each receive $50K SAFEs • $15M+ total capital deployed And we’re officially partnering with them to push this to the Market Fit audience 🔥 This isn’t a gimmick. It’s a real funding vehicle. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Submit a 5-minute application 2️⃣ Top startups get invited to regional in-person finals 3️⃣ Regional winners get funded 4️⃣ Global finalists compete for $1M Just product, team, and ambition. I know how cracked my founder audience is. If you’re building something serious, this is an asymmetric upside. Don’t worry, we’ll be spotlighting strong applications from our side 😉 I’ll personally be backing and pushing the strongest applications. Apply. Swing big. Let’s fund one of you! @Pilan_AI @AravSrinivas @milesdeutscher probably a browser security thing. web apps can't reach localhost the way desktop apps can. try tunneling through ngrok or cloudflared to get a public HTTPS URL, the web version should be able to connect.

Perplexity Computer is fast becoming my most-used AI agent for research. Especially with the release of mobile, it's so convenient. I've been using it for: • Scanning and generating daily content ideas • Scanning for real estate & investment opportunities • Generating daily reports (content & markets) • Quick research tasks (i.e. product reviews, comparing pricing etc.) I highly recommend playing around with it (I'll be posting a full guide soon).

Local Claude Code + Perplexity Computer Hey Aravind, I built a package that exposes local Claude Code instance as a remote MCP server. I connected it to Perplexity Desktop app and I am able to access my local claude code instance directly from Perplexity Desktop app. However, Perplexity Computer on the web doesn't seem to accept remote MCPs created this way for some reason. I can share more details. It would be an amazing addition to Perplexity Computer to have local Claude Code as the 21st agent to work with. Can someone help me understand where I'm going wrong? Would you really enjoy another community feed with comments? I am unable to convince myself that it will add to productivity or emotional well-being. Give an instruction to Hermes, sip a coffee, enjoy music, join others in emocean.dev campfire,... That's the core idea.. wdyt?

@LemonSqueeze09 @NousResearch Oh yeah, that would be amazing but all the public chatrooms in games for example end up with a ton of toxicity. Added swear word filters in emocean to avoid those. Only time will tell..

@Pilan_AI @NousResearch Oh i guess haha. I was thinking about it like starting a conversation with someone while sitting around a campfire. But that makes sense.

@LemonSqueeze09 @NousResearch Thinking about it, it is not difficult to implement but I'll deliberately avoid it for now to keep it simple and wait for feedback. Let's see. Thank you ❤️

@code_rams Chiti from Endhiran is it? Nice. I'm curious, what's Chiti made of and capable of? 😊

Built a full website for someone who kept abandoning Google Sites out of frustration. He showed me a reference site. I opened my phone, described it to my AI agent Chiti, and had a live Vercel link in 10 minutes. Step 1: listen to what they actually need Step 2: describe it in plain words to your agent Step 3: ship the ugly working version Step 4: fix feedback in real time Step 5: hand them the link before they leave This is what "AI automation for small businesses" actually looks like in practice. Not a pitch. Not a demo. Just a working website, on the spot.

App 5 of 100: MarkdownLens ✅ Built a live Markdown editor with split-pane preview, real-time syntax highlighting, and adaptive layouts for iPad & iPhone. Best part? Nothing broke on the first compile. Reusing patterns from earlier apps is already paying off. The Knowledge Bank approach is compounding - each app builds faster than the last. #buildinpublic

App 5 of 100: MarkdownLens Live Markdown editor with split-pane preview, real-time syntax highlighting, and adaptive layout (side-by-side on iPad, stacked on iPhone) Built today: 48 minutes Tests: 9/9 passing Status: shipped Learning: AttributedString(markdown:) has hard limits i.e., no tables, math, or mermaid diagrams. Would need swift-markdown or Down library for advanced features.

Pattern added to Knowledge Bank: // ZStack overlay for live syntax highlighting ZStack(alignment: .topLeading) { // Non-editable attributed text (background) Text(highlightedMarkdown) // Editable transparent text editor (foreground) TextEditor(text: $text) .foregroundStyle(.clear) } Tomorrow: type-spec - TypeScript/JavaScript type definition explorer

What broke: Nothing. First-try compile. This app reused the ZStack overlay pattern from regex-forge (syntax highlighting in TextEditor), which saved implementation time. The pattern is now a KB reusable component. Limitation noted: AttributedString markdown rendering doesn't support tables, math, or diagrams. This is a framework limitation, not a bug.

I was only hoping for Perplexity Computer to be supported on the Desktop app. With local MCP support and 'Headless Claude' that would have made an amazing setup already!! But this is just Unbelievably cool. Can't wait to offload all my work to Perplexity!!
