@lifewitsonduren I live in Japan as an expat and I'm married to a Japanese, most Japanese are taught to never be confrontational verbally or physically, you don't want to draw unnecessary attention, so a lot of women in an unknown situation would react like her, it's sad, not her fault though.

@123skely Japan is a great place to visit but a horrible place to live. Those who can emigrate to the usa do so: freedom and the ability to succeed purely on merit. For foreigners, you can be an expat but you can rarely be a citizen, so you will be a guest, you won't be at home.
