I've found out recently that many of these words that we've been told have very amusing translations into English are either made-up or that's not the translation. So here's what Google translate says is the translation.

@CaffeinatedLiha If you haven’t read it, the Steve Jobs biography is worth a read, with more of what actually made Apple what it was (Wozniak included) and Jobs’s psyche. Good business read and history of an important company.

@JBay_AllTheWay @switchfoot I’m still wrestling with it because the timing of its release coincided with my brother’s passing and we are still dealing with the shock of that.
Excellent album anyways, but it’s still a bit haunting to listen to, and that concept album concept speaks extra hard.

@Rosie_Gamgee_ Les Miserables is challenging to me right now. It has nothing to do with the writing style, which is actually quite readable. Nor does it have to do with the chapter lengths, which are short. Neither is it the length of the book, as I’ve read books that length.
It’s the weight.

I think that we need to have a conversation about what counts as "challenging" when it comes to reading. For me Paradise Lost is challenging because I constantly have to stop and read the footnotes. What do you find challenging and why?

The Giants lost 4-3. They blew their 12th save, which isn't a lot but sure feels like it. Weird catch/no catch sequence brought about hopes of a ninth inning comeback that fell short.

@pearls4swineguy The Two Towers was my favorite read and maybe watch the first time around.
Fellowship is the best adaptation, imo, and I loved so much of my most recent re-read.
Return of the King as a film has grown on me. My most recent re-read was staggering.
It really is one WHOLE thing.

I love how close this is. It just goes to show that the whole thing tells one story instead of each piece being independent. "The Two Towers" is my favorite movie, but I've only read "Fellowship" so far.
