Predictably, Cooper’s behavior on Elias' podcast did not advertise the so called “moderate” policies Cooper attempts to convince North Carolina voters he embraces. Instead, Cooper’s podcast topics were full of Trump hate, like the discussion centered around calling Cooper’s opponent Michael Whatley @WhatleyNC a “Threat.” Elias said: "He (Michael Whatley) turned the RNC into a voter suppression war machine, to propagate Donald Trump @realDonaldTrump’s lies. I think he is as big a threat to free and fair elections. Do I have that basically right, or am I missing something? Roy Cooper replied: "Well, obviously he was and still is today a 2020 election denier.”
