@AprilsBooks it’s part of what drew me to DSA. we have freedom to criticize and build toward unity in a way many orgs don’t have. RF-FR aligned orgs are very promising tho and i hope to see them continue their growth and development!

feels weird that of all big letter orgs the one where ppl are most willing to listen when I criticise is like dsa members
like im maoist and decolonialist I dont think im dsa aligned at all. its just reached the point of "who is the most willing to talk to me like a human being"

@detail_relation got any articles similar to this that deal primarily with texts other than DiNaM? i found the critiques here useful but that work has kinda been the punching bag of the left for a while. i’d have found it more useful if the author focused on the OC-MCP or other mao-ish formations

@ToweringDepths @iheartguap by its own lineage maoism is a tired and higher development on marxism. forgive me for not leading folks to the frankfurt school. i simply like marxists who do something other than call the cops. on biology, you wouldn’t know to differentiate darwin without prior knowledge on it

@ProleClassic @iheartguap also, its a little disingenuous to paint maoism as the "current form" which 1. isnt true by its own lineage and 2. its far from the only lineage out there. even outside of the 20th century political efforts, negri, gramsci, frankfurt school, etc. are all non-maoist marxists.
