I knew this would happen. Bought @PsyduckSteph a Steam Deck for Christmas and even though I have the Aya Neo I just had to get one. I’ve been eyeing them off since they got released but they took their sweet time to get to Aus Very very happy

A new console and a new game Palworld! Not exactly “cosy” but still! I tried out this game when it was first release but dropped off after a while. So now with my new steam deck a replay with the new content is a must! So far really enjoying! #Palworld #steamdeck #cozygaming

Day 14 It’s Sunday and we rolling over here - out of bed by 630ish - walk - Starbucks for a Strawberry refresher (if you haven’t had one you haven’t lived) - took down washing - set up my desk space to work @PsyduckSteph thought it was Monday lol How’d you start your day?

Christmas was great, 0 work done. Does not mean I didn't think about it though. Stepping away from the desk has given me some time to think about my SaaS mvp. I love the idea so much, I am already using it every day. That's validation enough right?

You'll likely see a few wrap up posts from me this week. This year was huge. This year was something else. When someone asks me where I started, it's an interesting question. The idea of Gonzcat was born in 2011. Now, 13 years later in 2024 it clicked, and I am doing the thing I only dreamed about each and every day! Why 2024, what happened? Honestly it was @kylepdotco and his Freelance Fam Cohort. I do not know where I saw it, likely twitter, but I applied, got in and joined the discord. Over 8 weeks we went through: - making websites fast - design layouts for websites - creating a portfolio website - pricing your services - getting clients - onboarding and managing clients - outsourcing - scaling and working less I could not make the live sessions as Aussie timezone isn't too great for me but I would be sure to watch the recordings as soon as they went up. In week 3 of the cohort I submitted my idea which was asyncodyssey.com, web dev for marketing agencies. @bradhussey and Kyle reviewed it on the live call, and when I saw my website come up as one to be reviewed, I felt sick. No lie. My partner told me to watch it and take what was said as feedback, and wow. Once I got myself through watching it, I was so chuffed. Areas to work on but on the right track! That's all I needed, that's where white labelling what I love was born. Thank you Kyle and the Freelance Fam community. I had the skills, I just needed the confidence to go out and start trying. I needed someone to tell me to get off my butt and chase what I was after and that is exactly what the Cohort did for me.

@MonfangOCE Keep the structure but definitely take some time off to reflect and relax and recharge for the new year! Doesn’t always have to be a blur, give the time a structure and a plan and keep yourself on track you will keep goals aligned coming into the new time 🥳

'Working' during the holidays. Do I keep up this new found momentum or take a break? In Australia it's holiday season. From now until January 6 time is like a blur, you don't know what day it is... it's a lot of eating, relaxing and soaking up the sun. I am in two minds about it.

My newest and coziest hobby yet!! I have recently really enjoyed some fun colouring in with some fun @cocowyo colouring in books! Cozy Christmas is currently my fan favourite! This is my newest project!

Day 5 of holding myself accountable and starting my day off with a couple of wins - walk - shower - flo - breakfast @PsyduckSteph is on holidays now until the end of the year, so wooo no dishes for me this morning. I also really enjoyed actually eating breakfast yesterday.
