In high school, we had an English classmate who used 'discombobulate' casually. And while we were amazed and amused, I think most of us added that word in our daily conversation immediately after.
On a side note, I'd use half of this list in casual convo. Words are fun.

I get anxious and panicky when people give me things, like if I didn't work hard or earn it through difficult means, something terrible's gonna happen to me sooner or later. Which is strange because selfless and unconditional generosity is my love language.
