Exactly why I stepped away from it all.
My retirement ended up being a hiatus, but the break was much needed.
My brain had become wired to always be doing. Always be pushing. Or else be punishing myself for why I wasn't coming up with more ways to better my content.
Numbers became the basis of my self-worth because I felt had to be succeeding at something I was already doing full-time. It was an endless chase, but I didn't know to what end.
It wasn't healthy anymore because of the instability of streaming causing me to fall into that negative loop.

I mean, I just turned 30 and after working a full time job + streaming for five years straight, you do start to feel like every ounce of your free time is always occupied w/ something, or that there’s always something you should be doing. Not a whole lot of time to just… live.
