J, I can perhaps offer this suggestion. As your seeking is on going, these verses from Hebrews 6 can be a great guide. I use them to this day.
The 6 fundamental teachings about Christ. Incidentally, the number 6 is the number of man. Not a coincidence. It speaks of our life walk back to God through Christ himself. Very cool. 😎✝️
1. Repentance from dead works
2. Faith toward God
3. Doctrine of baptisms
4. Laying on of hands
5. Resurrection of the dead
6. Eternal judgment.

The A-10 is a museum piece, a giant gun the pilot rides like a horse. The gun itself, the GAU-8 Avenger, has seven barrels of rotating depleted uranium, longer than a VW Beetle and twice as heavy. It fires 3,900 rounds a minute with a sound like God ripping a bedsheet. This monstrosity is propelled by two 3,000-hp megajets and vestigial wings. When it fires long enough, it stops mid-air. It’s that musky, tobacco-farm, high-T energy—enough chest hair to suffocate a lion. An absolute unit. A plane that instills terror in everything stupid enough to be standing in front of it. It’s a ridiculous contraption that America just can’t quit.

@elonmusk Needless to say, this technology is roaring success. There is no doubt. Major kudos to Space-X.

Some kind of new moral boundary has been crossed in Scarpetta on Amazon Prime, with no barrier preventing children from watching it, shows a fully naked female corpse, complete with nipples and pubic hair, but with hands severed, being opened up by a pathologist with massive shears and having its ribs cut out on camera.

@BoSnerdley Now, if they could just do something about that one senator.

🚨 ALERT - New Jersey can now ARREST I.C.E. and other federal agents for wearing a MASK, with potential JAIL TIME.
Yesterday, Governor Mikie Sherrill signed into law the "Law Enforcement Officer Protection Act" which:
- Bans most masked interactions by law enforcement, including federal agents and ICE officers
- Requires federal officers to identify themselves before arrests using uniform, ID, badge, or verbal disclosure
If any federal officer is caught wearing a mask during operations, they would be guilty of a disorderly persons offense, which includes up to 6 MONTHS IN JAIL!
Despite this new state law, Federal officials have stated that ICE agents will NOT COMPLY, which means this will likely be a LEGAL BATTLE (costing the NJ Tax Payer MILLIONS of dollars) and NJ will LOSE!
More GRANDSTANDING and VIRTUE SIGNALING by our new Governor. USELESS!
Keep Fighting 🇺🇸

@SenWarren Moreover, the federal government takes in more $ yearly than the GDP of every country on Earth except for the US and China,AND is ripe with fraud, waste and abuse.
The government shouldn’t get one cent more.

@sarahsalviander #2 is really scary. As a computer scientist, I run all kinds of simulations on mission critical systems I design. People do not expect their computers to "lie" to them. Observation is critical.😳

Science has always had problems - it's carried out by humans, after all - but the current problems plaguing science are serious.
These include:
1) Experimental fraud, reproducibility crisis, proliferation of errors, and "pay for play" junk papers;
2) Some scientists are currently debating whether experiment and observation - cornerstones of the scientific method - are necessary for scientific theories*;
3) Big Science seems to be spinning its wheels in the mud - few new paradigms for subject areas which have clearly stagnated. See theoretical physicist Sabine Hossenfelder's commentary on this.
The problem is, when scientists and society no longer see science as the search for truth about the natural world, but as something that serves society** or material gain, then all sorts of corruptions find their way in. But when the overarching objective is the search for truth about God's creation, and you believe you're accountable first and foremost to him, that tends not only to act as a brake on humanity's worst impulses, but to inspire humanity's best efforts. Let's hope we return to this view.
* Mostly I've seen this in service of the multiverse hypothesis. Avid proponents want to loosen the definition of science to include the unobservable multiverse.
** Science serving society sounds noble, but it's ultimately corrupting. Scientific fraud is on the rise, with some scientists fabricating case studies (mostly in medicine) because they "know" their ideas must be right and will benefit society. The sad thing is, this is unnecessary. God designed the world so that good science, carried out as the search for truth, will yield good fruit for society.

Which raises the question, since the secular and atheist view of science has become so popular now, what effect is this having on the practice of science?

@HarmeetKDhillon So, some states are passing state laws that attempt to negate the laws they surrendered oversight to in the Federal Government, when they signed on to statehood? 🤡
