Great example of a professional artist when it comes to delays: 1. Gave warning they might need to push dates out well in advance 2. *Asked* if it was possible to push the due date out, still 3 days beforehand not at the absolute last minute 3. Pre-emptively *offered* a refund if that wouldn't work Most clients are reasonable when IRL stuff happens as long as you *communicate* and don't spend the money before completing the work so that you can have the *option* to refund if delays won't work for the client. Instead, a lot of unprofessional artists act entitled to their client's money as if they are doing them an act of charity and treat due dates as more of a suggestion than anything else. Life happens, but it's not hard to be professional about it.
