Most people see quantum computing as a future threat to blockchain. DAC sees it as the future of mining itself. According to the DAC Yellow Paper, traditional Proof of Work systems face a growing challenge from quantum advantage. While Grover’s algorithm can reduce the effective security of SHA 256 mining, DAC introduces Proof of Quantum Work (PoQW) a mining model built around quantum hashing and quantum native computation rather than classical brute force. This is a major shift in perspective Instead of defending against quantum computers, DAC integrates them into consensus. Instead of increasing energy consumption, PoQW aims to make block production significantly more efficient. Instead of patching old architectures, DAC is designing infrastructure for a post quantum era. The Yellow Paper states that PoQW replaces SHA 256 based mining with quantum hashing executed on quantum annealers, making block production intrinsically quantum intensive while targeting over 99% lower energy consumption compared to traditional Bitcoin mining. If quantum computing is inevitable, then blockchain mining must evolve with it. DAC isn't just preparing for the future. It's building consensus around it. @dac_chain
