#OTD: November 16, 1907, Oklahoma was the 46th state admitted to the Union! I am proud to be a fifth generation Oklahoman and to represent the Fifth District of Oklahoma in Congress. Happy Oklahoma Statehood Day.

There's more work to do, but we have made great strides. We are on the right path. The work cannot stop -- let's keep going.

I guess the boot tweet really caught on. Lankford yells for me to come over and pulls up his dress pants to reveal boots, then grins. Lucas says he’s a farmer and his wife’s the rancher, so she wears the boots.

Finished our day at the Oklahoma National Stockyards with Oklahoma Ag Secretary Reese, @RepRussell and @RepFrankLucas. These stockyards were founded 108 years ago and cattle ranchers come from all over the country to sell their cattle.
