@Rev_ADB Hyrule simply was not founded twice. It is also impossible for it to be the original Hyrule, as Ganondorf raises the castle in OoT and would subsequently have released the original Ganondorf. Thus, it is a new timeline.
@JonDArsen factually untrue, what little "lore" botw had was retconned in Totk, which itself has barely anything. most of what they do have is just a loose adaption of the stortelling beats of the previous games
@Rev_ADB This is a pretty evident fact given the Zora exist at the same time. What's not explained are the Koroks also being there, with visibly no changes. Yet they're originally Kokiri, meaning the Great Flood must've happened. Else it implies Korok -> Kokiri -> Korok.

King Rauru gifting a secret stone to Qia implies the Rito were present before the events of Ocarina of Time, which is impossible unless the Era of Foundation happens after merging the existing timeline or being part of a new one (see pic). I've got even more to say.
theres a lot of interesting meat to the storytelling in the Aonuma Zeldas. you could tell they were interested in saying something, even if it is clumsy and full of holes. Post Botw Zelda however feels like sawdust, i cannot fathom being interested in this.

Every time I tell someone to elaborate on how TotK retconned BotW… all I hear is “Well… people forgot Link” And we know that is a gross misrepresentation. But go ahead: explain, in detail, how TotK retconned BotW’s lore.
