@ItsTomographic @MarnidMB but its not. it's actively failing at doing its own thing, people are trying but from the get-go even its fans are complaining about decisions the devs have been making in regards to longevity of the game and its playerbase. you're just too dumb to understand i've already seen.

Did you even read my original post where I address all of what you just said and call those exact parts the games greatest weakness as far as its reach but also its greatest strength as an actual game? The likes of which we never see from the AAA industry. It clearly wasn't a glaze pose but a reflection on why the game is so polarising despite being a great FPS game. Tarkov focuses on hyper-realism and ARC Raiders isn't an FPS so where's the relevance outside of those games occupying the same genre? Like it or not, Marathon is doing its own thing.

Marathon is being so slept on by the FPS community. It's been really interesting as a content creator, hearing directly from viewers that they refuse to watch because they can’t get past the polarizing visuals to understand that this is truly one of the best feeling FPS experiences in years with tight gunplay, insane tension (genuinely has my heart beating out my chest) and a gameplay loop that actually rewards skill and decision making. But I think that's also the games biggest problem. People like to bash the art style but really I think it's that PvP games just don’t stick like they used to. They’re harder to get into, harder to watch, and don’t have broad, instant appeal. If it’s not immediately accessible or visually “safe” people bounce. So Marathon ends up overlooked, not because it’s bad (it's great) but because it’s different at a time when most players just want familiar. *It's also crazy that Bungie took such a huge risk on a niche game with a niche art style for such a niche demographic so I can understand where the negativity is coming from as far as gamers wanting more than just "another extraction shooter" but they made a damn good one and I hope more people give it a chance.

@JuiceMan_V the only thing about botw that actually is worth a shit is what little writing actually exists in the game if you go out of your way to find it. the rest is very basic, the cooking system is braindead and so is combat - basic dodge, block, parry and mash buttons system.

Garbage tier take. BotW gets glowing scores because the gameplay IS that good and mesh within itself that well. If any other company did that before Nintendo, they'd be the hottest thing in town.

Heaven and hell is made up. Once you die , you’re dead. This is my subjective opinion. if you counter it, the burden of proof lays on you to provide proof of heaven, hell, and consciousness after death. I’m open to have my mind changed by sufficient evidence.

1. I am conscious 2. I have no hard evidence that the death of my physical body ought to impact that consciousness 3. Therefore, it's logical to believe that my consciousness persists beyond the death of my physical body 4. If you counter it, the burden of proof lies on you to prove that consciousness is somehow extinguished with the death of the physical body I'm open to having my mind changed by sufficient evidence.
