Last night a few people shared with me “inside job” conspiracy theories about the assassination attempt and nobody was stupid enough to come up with “build political support for the ballroom” as the goal of the conspiracy.

Seriously, Kimmel wasn’t funny — he was just cruel. There’s no defense for mocking the First Lady like that. Kimmel's show should be on the chopping block. Late-night television used to be popular because it was entertaining. Now it’s dominated by obsessive Trump hatred across the major networks. Americans don’t want to wake up to the nonstop venom on Morning Joe and go to bed with the same bitterness every night. Enough. People are tired of it.
