@Discript @TorstenBell Hi Torsten. Any link to this research please? I'm my head I have a different hypothesis for why this pattern. Thanks 👍

@pauljholmes Not sure of evidence for "pandemic easing" with hospitalisations trending up coronavirus.data.gov.uk but today approx 50% face to face at my GP surgery (local to you). Others didn't need face to face and were happy with phone. Glad health sec will be answering our phones 😊

Many people have raised with me the difficulty in accessing face-to-face GP appointments, despite the pandemic easing? Pleased to hear the Health Secretary is looking to help GPs get back to offering face-to-face appointments in the usual way.

.@stuart_lines Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Just wondering: 1) Who does the swabbing at #Enfield #COVID19 mass test centres? 2) Who analyses samples? 3) Which kits are you using? 4) How many people have been tested and how many test positive? Thanks!

(2/2) Perhaps researchers could monitor antibody titres at varying intervals after 1st dose, as a check? (Disclosure: I am a participant in #oxfordastrazeneca vaccine trial, with many months between dose 1 and 2. Just unblinded, I now know I received covid vaccine)

(1/2) Just watching @_OliviaBlake on news. I agree that communication on booster intervals could be clearer. Given her degree in biomedical science, she can check @TheLancet herself: Search for "more than 12 weeks after the first dose" thelancet.com/journals/lance…

theguardian.com/world/2020/aug… Dear government If you physically can't swab people or send kits, it doesn't matter how many tests your labs can process. The daily capacity stats should be at the system level. Otherwise they're misleading. #TestandTrace

@trishgreenhalgh @mjknight0380 @mariabuxton2gm1 @ChristineACourt Thank you all for a really interesting paper. 😊 A little question: I assume you intended to say SpO2<96%, rather than PaO2? 📉 I can't imagine many people are doing blood gases at home or in primary care💉🤷🏻‍♂️

Update: Friend called helpline. He has really bad muscle pains. Nearest test centre 8 miles away (despite him being in London zone 2) and no home test kits available. Stats on lab capacity are meaningless if people can't access testing @AllysonPollock @chrischirp @GabrielScally

Hello @didoharding @BWCHBoss @tomriordan. Friend had Covid symptoms at work. 🥵 Went home, self isolated, requested test. Test delivered, sample bottle broken, buffer leaking out. Asks for replacement but told to go to test centre despite feeling rough. Thoughts? #testandtrace

@jamesrbuk Indeed, a text was issued by all networks a day after I asked SoS digital about it... but it was essentially a manual process by each operator twitter.com/RexFactotum/st… gov.uk/government/new…

@PHE_uk @CMO_England @BorisJohnson @OliverDowden Can the Public Emergency Alerts system be used to push "go home, stay home" messages to people's phones, particularly where there has been an increase in cell usage? 5/8 gov.uk/government/pub…
