I know many have lost faith in Alter and honestly, I don’t blame you. At one point, I lost faith too, not just in Alter, but in the way this space operates. The constant extraction is exhausting. I went quiet to reflect and figure things out. Alter needed to be better. I didn’t want to come back just to ask for more. I’ve already raised funds once, and doing it again didn’t feel right. That’s why I’ve always offered buybacks for anyone who wanted them. Every dollar raised went directly into building Alter, nothing else but now, it’s on me to self-fund, to deliver real value, and to reward the belief that some of you still held onto. I’m not going to blame the market, ICON, or external conditions for why Alter hasn’t succeeded yet. That’s on me. I tried things, they didn’t work. But over time, it became clear what was missing. Here’s the truth: Most traditional NFT projects are built on a cycle of extraction. You mint for hundreds, then pay more for mediocre merch, and then again for Vol. 2, 3, 4... It’s a loop that doesn’t give back. Alter is helping break that cycle. We’re taking inspiration from $REKT who are one of the few brands breaking the extraction cycle. By integrating with Slush, we’ll allow users to claim NFTs through email-based wallets, making onboarding from Web2 to Web3 seamless and frictionless, just as it should be. We aim to be a leading streetwear brand that utilises web3, not a Web3 streetwear brand. I didn’t quit because some of you still believed and I refuse to let that belief go to waste. This space deserves better. If we want real change, we have to lead by example. Alter is back. Not to extract but to build something meaningful.

Two leaders/ founders that have given me hope for this space and that’s @osf_rekt & @LucaNetz Both focus on providing value rather than extracting and lately when all it feels like is extraction events it’s truly a breath of fresh air to have founders like both of them. They both understand the importance of community and it shows. It’s why I’ve been supporting both and in return my portfolio has outperformed most other assets between $REKT $pengu and @AbstractChain ecosystem which I told everyone I know to get involved with on day 1 as I knew the potential it had with @LucaNetz behind it.
