@Robapple8 They could, but if let’s say all Ohio State players had to pay for their tuition next year. Another school would just offer all their players a scholarship to beat them in recruiting.

Why do college athletes with NIL deals still get scholarship money? Can't they pay for their college and save the scholarship for someone else?
