@WallStreetApes Elon has talked a lot about the importance of reducing the importance of follower counts. I love Elon, but that makes no sense whatsoever. It's like saying TV ratings shouldn't matter, or box office receipts shouldn't matter, or actual sales of Teslas shouldn't matter.

I don’t think bots are the main problem because social media has always had a bot problem
I think the main issue is not just X, but every social media company abandoned the importance of follower counts
Companies now decide what’s shown instead of users with shares and follows

77% of Republicans support the airstrikes, just 6% of Democrats do.
55% oppose sending any ground troops at all.
Meanwhile, plans for troops near Iran’s coast and Kharg Island (90% of its oil exports) are already being discussed.

I have been saying that we are seeing the European countries and British Isles paying for severing their national commitment to God.
Breaking covenants is nasty business
Also why Trump publicly declaring America to God is a much bigger deal than people realize. He may be an unbeliever, but he understands the gravity of national covenants with Yahweh

A topic that is on fire on Twitter right now with everyone, but no one sees it🤔

@BrandonStraka @elonmusk 80% is about right. I was getting 50 million views a week in the summer (and I know it was "high quality", whatever that means, because I was constantly getting booked on cable shows directly off content I posted on X). All that tanked in August.

@elonmusk I’m noticing that engagement is fairly typical on my posts, but actual impressions are down like 75-80%. Even posts with 5K reposts and 20K likes are getting 100K impressions. I used to get 100K impressions on posts with 40 reposts and 500 likes. lol

Concerning this endless parade of charlatans who incessantly mouth the mantra that Israel controls our government, are they liars, or just stupid? And before you say I'm crass for pointedly asking this, consider the concerted damage these people do to the United States.

@DefiyantlyFree Exactly right. Trump has been consistently Reaganesque on this. Short sharp uses of force where it can be decisive, with a huge buildup to deter aggression and extend American influence throughout the world.

Well so much for that narrative. On Iran, Trump beats Tucker, Megyn, & Candace 83% to 6% among Republicans.
Compared to prominent podcasters Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, both of whom have criticized the president over the Iran war, a new poll found 83% of likely Republican voters trust Trump’s judgment, while just 6% place more confidence in the former Fox News hosts.
Even more respondents (84%) agree with Trump’s foreign policy views over Carlson and Kelly (6%), while 85% say they take the president more seriously on world affairs than media commentators and podcasters (6% again).
If a GOP candidate was more aligned with the Carlson-Kelly camp, 55% of respondents said they would be less likely to support that candidate, while just 19% said they were more likely to give them their vote.
This is the fifth poll finding similar numbers I've posted in the last week from across the political spectrum, including Fox, NBC, CNN, and Rasmussen.
