@Protox0 The M16A2 can use a Muzzle Boost to improve bullet spread, but I never expected its accuracy to actually drop from 4 to 5.

So how is the new M16A2? Are people using it or is it too rare since it's only a 12% Chance in a Locked Crate at the moment? I think they should expand where you can find one or even sell it (Maybe Floating City 450 scrap perhaps?), thoughts? #Rust

Staging Branch just updated and M16A2 now has 600 fire rate (same as MP5) vs 500 on the LR. The description was changed to say "A reliable burst-fire only rifle offering excellent accuracy and firerate." They added "only" text, so might be a burst only gun.🤔#Rust

@JusticeBaloney @Protox0 However, the point I cannot agree with is that this model is at a disadvantage because its longer barrel reduces its effective range. After all, we must take into account that it is, by design, a semi-automatic weapon intended for three-round bursts.

@JusticeBaloney @Protox0 From a monuments perspective, what you're saying isn't entirely without merit. However, if this were an M16A2 with a shorter barrel, I think we could reduce its MOA to create a different kind of disadvantage．

Noticed newer Stats on M16A2 + new icon, at the moment it's just 3 Round Burst, wonder if Single Fire is coming? 35 damage vs 40 on LR & lower range. Lacking sounds & re-using LR sounds for firing. Not seeing BP or Research Costs. [ Work In Progress!!! ] #Rust
