KUNG FU HUSTLE was released 22 years ago today.
Stephen Chow combined Looney Tunes-style slapstick with classic kung fu cinema, using CGI not for realism but to exaggerate physics and turn fights into cartoon-like spectacles.

Nintendo has an almost Disney level of IP depth to bring to life in ways orher than games and has been underutilised in film and TV.
Plus comes with inbuilt world wide kid and adult fan base.

The success of the Mario movies must be having quite the impact within Nintendo. A lot of stuff in the works from what I’m hearing, I can’t talk about it all just yet, but as an example, they’re looking at pitching a Luigi’s Mansion movie

@Shpeshal_Nick Hopefully they play the Luigi & Mario relationship like in #3 where Mario is jumping around wildly while Luigi has to go room to room. Was so funny to see the dynamic played out like that
