not even just AI but special FX in general, practical effects will always feel so much better. even with all the graphics we refused to use digital plugins and overlays for texture like i sat there printing out hundreds of different graphics on different types of transparent paper, smudging them different ways then rescanning them back onto the computer. like the sharpie tee was her doodling and then us scanning it. the dance title card i pointed a camera up at picture frame glass with cut out words and fake blood. OPPOSITE OF AI TBH
