Look, all these stories on the Dettol Hygiene Quest were tipped to us by @kitonejulius. Even with many online media outlets available, he trusted, chose, and considered Parrots Media. A fatal accident has taken your life, but we carry countless memories with you Till we meet again

Dear NRM, There are still people who actually support you outside the circle of direct beneficiaries. The intimidation, impunity and violence that you permit your side to get away with is actually alienating some of your supporters from you. Perhaps you can do without supporters, but think about it. Violence on its own and ruling by fear is extremely difficult/expensive to sustain. I’m sure you know it. The people you are abducting, brutalising and threatening are the same people we will live with and perhaps need at some point, including their offsprings who are watching everything. For our collective good, we can build a more sustainable country where political difference is not a do or die thing. We shouldn’t be each other’s enemies. That can’t make a country

🛑 MYTH: Drowning victims scream, wave, and thrash for help. ✅ FACT: Most drownings are silent. No shouting. No splashing. Victims often slip under in less than 30 seconds. 👀 If you’re waiting for a scream, you might miss the chance to save a life.

Unsafe abortion remains a leading cause of preventable death and suffering for women and girls in Africa. On this #InternationalSafeAbortionDay, we join CRR and partners to call on governments to act. 📖 Read our joint statement reproductiverights.org/africa-isad-20… The Maputo Protocol explicitly recognizes abortion as a right under Article 14(2)(c), obligating States to provide safe services in cases of rape, incest, sexual assault, and where pregnancy endangers life or health. We cannot remain silent as unsafe abortion robs women of their lives and dignity. #AbortionisHealthcare

"If it takes all us to raise a child, that means that we're all raised by the home and community we grow up in," says Shiela Kasabiti, our SRHR Technical Specialist. Because our work is intentional, we want all the stakeholders to speak openly so that we can address issues of teenage pregnancy as one! #ProtectSRHR
