@ZachWeiner Yes! The log function is a primitive of the inverse function. In other words, log(z) is the area of the shape cut out by the curve y=1/x; the x axis; and the lines x=1 and x=z.
In your dialect, do you ever use the term "thing" as part of a term of endearment, e.g. "you sweet thing" "what a dear thing you are" etc.
A) Yes
B) No
C) No, but relatives of mine do
D) Show results
[if A or C, where are you from?]
@ZachWeiner A number is normal if and only if it is simply normal in every base. Therefore, just like normal numbers, it is hard to find provable interesting not-too-artificial examples (since base 10 is not that "interesting" itself).
@ZachWeiner Doing 69s forever is a strictly weaker property than normality, so it's not really a formalization of the Pi normality question. You could call that weaker property "uncomfortable normality".
@ZGGaming Sounds like that's bound to happen, there's an audience that wants seriousness and one that wants fun. Among both of those there's gonna be people who complain if they don't get what they want. Some "fun-oriented" sc2 casters also get shit for it.
Reading the crit of R6 casters blows me away. All I can think of is comparing it to the crit SC2 casters get and how it's almost opposite at times.
Feels like a lot of recent crit of us has been "not fun enough, too serious" and R6 be hating on the opposite ha.
@ZachWeiner@olson8401@pervocracy By "general enough" I mean independent from the observer. Or dependant on the observer in a way that can be described using the properties of the observer, which is essentially the same thing.
@ZachWeiner@olson8401@pervocracy I would imagine the most common definition of science is something like "a method that works well enough to answer questions that are general enough". In which case the answer to your original question seems to be no.
Do you think there exists information about physical reality that is both
A) not discoverable with scientific methods
B) discoverable with some other method
@Sc2Lind Ah ça t'inquiète je sais bien. Mais je sais jamais si spawning tool est à jour ou pas....
Et bon j'me dis...
