Finally got my refund. Full on anxiety time looking for a replacement. I’d build my own but after that experience I’m worried I’d do it worse.

@majormagna No CMOS battery wouldn’t stop it from powering on I’m afraid.

Motherboard is an Asus X99-E WS, power supply is a Corsair HX850i

PC hardware folks (hopefully @Scan_3XS as its one of your builds), can a dead CMOS battery cause a PC to not respond to the power button? I'm really hoping I don't have a dead motherboard.

After 4 months of waiting my @Scan_3XS PC arrived from @ScanComputers. It is a thing of beauty, I've never seen a PC so tidy with very few cables. The WC chrome pipe really make the RGB explode through the glass. Was worth the wait, even if it was frustrating from impatience!
