It’s that Rama Duwaji’s identity and role and even the marriage show many anomalies and inconsistencies; and details of her prior life are unverifiable; and a possible security threat that close to life and death information about a city of 8 million needs to be further investigated.

The replies from Canadians, mostly conservatives, are something to behold. All it took was a mild walk back from an American to trigger a wave of fawning responses from some Canadians, tripping over themselves to explain that they’re the half of the country that loves America, unlike the other half. It's the flip side of the same coin: where one strain of Canadian identity leans into smugness (as @walterkirn correctly identifies), and another leans into eager validation. The Canadian left is smug and the Canadian right is insecure but both are self-loathing in the extreme. You’d be hard-pressed to find similar reactions from Americans, Brits, Germans, or Indians of any political stripe because they know who they are. It's no wonder the Americans don't take us seriously.

I am a diehard South Park fan, and I am in favor of being able to poke fun at celebrities and elected officials… But I find it noteworthy that they just completely ignored the last 4 years of Biden being a vegetable, and are now all-in on bashing Trump all the sudden. This comes after South Park made fun of the all the anti-vaxxers and “conspiracy theorists” during the pandemic, and all those people turned out to be right about everything… Then, in 2020, Trey and Matt said they wanted to take a break from politics after getting everything wrong about Trump, Russia, Covid, vaccines, and more. They said they just wanted to get back to being funny, while completely ignoring Biden being a walking joke factory for 4 years, just to fire back up the political episodes as soon as Trump comes back. If South Park would have made fun of Biden, I wouldn’t have said anything, but they didn’t, so now this Trump-bashing just comes off as politically motivated. South Park prides themselves for, supposedly, going after EVERYONE, but they let Biden and the Dems off the hook for the last 8 years… As a lifelong South Park fan, it has been disappointing to see this franchise fall off, and it all started around the 2016 election. It’s never been the same. There have been some funny moments, but something changed.

My neighbors in the condo next to me aren’t selling, they just went home for the summer. They’ll be back next winter. The Canadians in S FL are retirees from Ontario and Quebec. The lives that have been lost are precious and that’s something a country can never get back. The war needs to end. With that said, the United States has given Ukraine over $120b (some say it’s close to 300b) in assistance. That’s hard earned tax dollars from Americans. (Which most Americas are against funding) President Zelenskyy has worn the green jumpsuit (or something similar) on every occasion when meeting other world leaders, dressed respectfully for the occasion. For him, once again, to enter the highest office in the most powerful nation in the world, dressed as he did, reflects his inner disrespect for not only our country, the President and the US citizens that have made it possible for Ukraine to survive as long as they have to this point. (Financially speaking) Moments after my exchange with President Zelenskyy, we began to hear a slightly different tone/mood from him when engaging with President Trump and VP JD Vance as his attire in-fact did begin to reflect his overall attitude towards the negotiations. So yes, you can judge a book by its cover. With that said, I pray for an ending to this war and peace in that region. Thank you. 🇺🇸
