Fantastic weekend and drive for Lewis, he had the pace to challenge for the win. And we’ll always take a break from a VSC as it normally screws us over (like it did Charles, one day it will help both pilots at once). He is looking very comfortable with the way Ferrari have moved the car, and this is a near peak Lewis. Game on if Merc can’t solve their reliability issues, he could well be brought back into a title race by reliability woes, which is crazy to imagine given the pace the Mercs started with. Could just be a bad weekend, but Merc faltered here. Downside is that Merc can make updates to a reliability issue in season without the need for ADUO if they can demonstrate a concern to the FIA. And them also getting ADUO is an unexpected blow to Ferrari. That’s 2026 over for Charles, unfortunately. Misses a VSC again in a good recovery drive, and yet another terminal car issue. No coming back from 2 DNF’s, so the remainder of this campaign for him should be about working towards car setup tweaks that help him get comfortable with the brakes and throttle feel. He needs to mentally scrap 2026, try to do a few crazy miracles here and there for fun, and focus on refinements to the car he needs like Lewis did in 2025. These Battery Cars are Leclerc’s version of GE for Lewis, he just doesn’t work with them and his pace has been off the mark. He’ll bounce back, no need for any panic, but it’s the toughest stretch of races of his career. Huge credit to the engineering team for delivering an incredible update package that has brought them much closer to Mercedes. I can’t help but think Merc suffered the most of anyone in these hot temps, but there’s more of those to come.

@IxBeast @meyl_m @FanaticsFerrari Nah p6 was maximum he had problems on the last stunt because the car had a problem where the front left wasn’t turning properly but it wouldn’t have mattered with the steering failure.

@meyl_m @FanaticsFerrari and even after crashing into a wall he did a pretty good recovery drive to P5, likely wouldve gotten a P4 maybe a P3 (maybe), but either way this wasnt his fault.

@Mikepap3314 Was ham a. It Lucky with the vsc yes but that’s racing, the upgrades made us better in qualy and low fuel race pace so we need to take those W´s and now hope the new engine delivers on the straight when it comes. And Charles needs to reset and be on demon time come Spielberg.

@brakeboosted He doesn’t have it in him I think. Two weeks in a row where the car was in contention and 0 points scored. Every time the car can win, he can’t make it work, see Mexico ‘24, Singapore ‘23 you name it.

@LFCRon_ Ist aber auch real talk besser für seine Entwicklung der Typ ist 16 und sehe es wirklich besser wenn er 3 Jahre bei Leverkusen oder Leipzig oder Dortmund balled und dann wechselt. Ich seh es auch so das er sich warsxheilich ne Klausel für Jahr 4/5 einbauen lässt für Clubs

Ich war die letzten Tage eher weniger aktiv auf der App,da ich im RL viel zu tun hatte,sehe mich aber gezwungen diese News einzuordnen. Das Eichhorn nicht passieren wird aufgrund der Brexit-Problematik war mir klar. Das Leute aber behaupten,dass wir „rejected“ wurden ist weird.
