Mike Tomlin is not only not a great defensive coach, but he may be the most incompetent defensive coach in the NFL. And that’s not hyperbole. He’s a fraud.

After watching the defensive film back, I came away less upset with Tomlin/Austin's game plan and more disappointed in how bad Ramsey, Slay & Queen were in coverage. Chuck Clark also took some BRUTAL pursuit angles & missed some very key tackles as a result. Then in run defense, just a lot of overaggressiveness leading to unsound gap structure & some massive holes for Chase Brown to run through. Too many guys trying to be heroes out there that just need to be doing their job. It's also pretty clear that the entire group was GASSED pretty much that entire 2nd half with how much Cincy was dominating possession since the middle of the 2Q. The officiating when it came to how they called DPI's vs. not calling OPI's certainly didn't help either...

@CamHeywardFan They have done it though (Canada for example), so I’m crossing my fingers they’d be willing to do it again this year if things don’t improve.

I’m not even joking…if the Steelers O-Line doesn’t improve drastically in the next few weeks (or even this week tbh), PIT should fire Pat Meyer & give Arthur Smith the O-line coaching duties alongside his OC responsibilities. Art is a former O-Line coach and is highly knowledgeable about the position; if there’s anyone on this coaching staff that can fix the mess Meyer leaves behind in this room mid-season, it would be him. #HereWeGo

@Blitz_Burgh I think it is fair to say they are struggling. The offensive line is still somewhat out of sorts. As Tomlin would say, it is popcorn. One guy just pops up each play as doing poorly. The offense can't find rhythm because of it.
