The album’s name is fitting, as it served as a collage of the best Hip Hop had to offer—jazz samples, crisp drums, and a flow that felt like a secret whispered in your ear. It remains a cult classic that every true student of the genre must have in their collection.

@Sojay I mean it is unavoidable. There's a tour on now and I would normally be able to have a comped ticket but under their auspices - no such thing even if it is what the band wants. So like LITERALLY no way to avoid it except by not being a concertgoer. The fees are r*pey though.

We embraced this album out West. She’s an emcees emcee. It was fresh to hear her mention the Freestyle Fellowship (specifically Aceyalone) on “Innovation”. Then seeing Medusa and Zagu Brown from Glowbal Phlowtations in her video for “I Confess” was a fly nod to who she respects.
